As the
key equipment in the energy Internet, electric energy routers can realize the
high-efficiency power conversion, the effective consumption of new energy power
generation and the flexible access to loads. By integrating with cyber-physical
technology, electric energy routers possess the ability to communicate and make
intelligent decisions. The focus of this Special Issue is the latest
research achievements of electric energy routers as well as their emerging
applications.
