Due to
the increasing stringent stability and safety requirements, the stability and
safety issues in power electronics systems have been attracting more and more
attention in a few years. To understand the instability mechanisms in power
electronics converter and systems, comprehensive modeling, stability analysis
and control are becoming essential. Moreover, the failure mechanisms, safe
operation of power electronics systems in practical applications, fault
detection and diagnostics, fault tolerance of power electronics converter,
which can help to guarantee the safety of the power electronics become more and
more important. The focus of this Special Issue is to collect emerging research
achievements within the scope of stability and safety of power electronics systems.
Topics
of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
1. Modeling and stability analysis of
power electronics systems;
2. Stabilization control of power
electronics systems;
3. Fault detection and diagnostics of
power electronics systems;
4. Failure mechanism and fault tolerance
of power electronics systems.
5. Safe operation of power electronics
systems.
