Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to welcome you to Kristiansand, Norway and to the 19th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA 2024)!
The annual event of ICIEA has proven to be an important forum for researchers and engineers from all around the world to share their latest research results and accelerating the exploitation of new technologies in various areas of industrial electronics and applications. ICIEA 2024 continued to attract broad interest, with 429 submissions from 33 countries/regions. All the papers received were processed by the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of the conference. The TPC Chairs and Track Chairs worked professionally, responsibly, and diligently in soliciting expert international reviewers. Besides evaluations from reviewers, they also provided their own assessments to ensure that only high-quality papers would be accepted. Their hard work has enabled the conference to put together a very solid technical program that includes 353 papers for presentation. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to them for their dedication, diligence and commitments.
Besides the parallel technical sessions, four keynote addresses and four distinguished lectures on the state-of-the-art development in industrial electronics and applications will be delivered by eminent professors. We are indeed honored to have Professor Mo-Yuen Chow from North Carolina State University, Professor Dr.-Ing. Ren C. Luo from National Taiwan University, Professor Akshay Kumar Rathore from Singapore Institute of Technology, and Professor Bruno Siciliano from University of Naples Federico II as the keynote speakers, and Professor Weibo Gong from University of Massachusetts, Professor Jinjun Liu from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Dr. Zhibo Pang from ABB Corporate Research, and Professor Wei Wang from Beihang University as distinguished lecturers. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of them for their contributions and support to ICIEA 2024.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to thank all the organizers of special sessions and numerous researchers worldwide who helped to review the submitted papers. We are also grateful to distinguished members of International Advisory Board for their invaluable supports and assistances. We wish to place our hearty thanks to all the members of the Organizing Committee for their hard work to make this conference possible, and to many friends, colleagues, and indeed family members who have helped the conference directly or indirectly.
