Summary of Session:

With the rapid development of AI, smart detection and inspection is driven to be used in more industry detection areas such as manufacture, biomedical and marine engineering. The focus of this special session is to collect emerging research achievements within the scope of smart inspection. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

1. AI based defects detection
2. Camera/borescope tracking during inspection
3. Intelligent diagnosis based on image and video.
4. Wafer/IC chip surface defect detection
5. Signal & Image Processing methods and algorithms
6. Deep learning-based computer vision and signal processing
7. Digital NDT
8. Data processing
9. Inspection and tracking in marine engineering
