Summary of Session:

With the rapid advancements in AI, biomaterials, nanomaterials, new energy materials and microelectronics, smart and advanced materials characterization methods, as well as reliability analysis, are evolving at an unprecedented pace. Today, materials science and reliability technologies are increasingly integrating with AI to deliver cutting-edge solutions like Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) for advanced reliability and safety management. These innovations are finding expanded applications in various industries, including advanced manufacturing, new energy engineering, biomedical engineering, and marine engineering. 

This special session aims to highlight emerging research breakthroughs in the domain of smart inspection, fostering the development of next-generation technologies that combine intelligence, precision, and reliability. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
