Wireless sensing has emerged as a key enabling technology for industrial monitoring, offering flexible, scalable, and cost-effective solutions for real-time data acquisition and system supervision. It integrates various sensing modalities (e.g., radio frequency, WiFi, radar, and acoustic) with intelligent signal processing and communication frameworks to enhance the observability, safety, and efficiency of industrial environments. By eliminating the limitations of wired systems, wireless sensing enables large-scale deployment and adaptive monitoring in complex industrial scenarios such as smart factories, structural health monitoring, and predictive maintenance. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and edge computing, intelligent wireless sensing systems are expected to provide more accurate perception, robust decision-making, and energy-efficient operations.
This invited session aims to promote emerging research on wireless sensing technologies for industrial monitoring. Original innovative research papers addressing the following technology areas and their potential applications are invited:
