Summary of session:

Under the IEEE ICIEA2026, we are going to organize a special invited session on Underwater Imaging, inspection and digital twin for Engineering and Marine Applications, which will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, students to exchange and share ideas in this booming area. Authors are invited to submit full papers describing original research work in areas including, but not limited to:

• Underwater（Optical, Acoustic）Imaging & Image Processing and fusion/stitching.
• Underwater stereo vision and 3D modelling for digital twin.
• Image based position tracking (Visual SLAM, Visual odometer, etc) and object detection in underwater environments.
• AI-based computer vision method used in underwater applications.
• Ocean sensing/detection and equipment, underwater robotics and device.
• Ocean simulation and intelligent prediction.
